Priyanka Kakkar ventured into the fashion industry after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, in 2006. Her foundational experience included an internship with celebrated British designer Zandra Rhodes in 2005, followed by her work at Raghavendra Rathore's Design Cell, where she refined her eye for detail and understanding of Indian luxury aesthetics.

Later that same year, she launched her own label, Ankyra by Priyanka Kakkar, which has since become synonymous with understated luxury, feminine strength, and thoughtful design. Her collections are known for blending classic silhouettes with playful color palettes, modern tailoring, and fabric mixes that echo both contemporary lifestyles and ancient inspirations. With an aesthetic rooted in grace and individuality, Ankyra offers a wardrobe that allows women to express emotion and identity through style.

The label has found a retail presence in India and internationally, including the UAE, UK, USA, Kuwait, South Africa, and Hong Kong. Priyanka’s work has been featured on prestigious runways and platforms such as Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi, Dubai Fashion Week, the India Premier at London Fashion Week, the Ethical Fashion Show in Paris, and the Salon International de la Lingerie in Versailles.

With an evolving design language that bridges cultural richness and emotional depth, Priyanka continues to position herself not just as a designer, but as a storyteller and curator of experiences through fashion.
