The Journey
Priyanka Kakkar ventured into the fashion industry after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, in 2006. She gained experience through an internship with renowned British designer Zandra Rhodes in 2005 and later worked at Raghuvendra Rathore's design cell in 2006.
In 2006, she launched her label, "Ankyra by Priyanka Kakkar," offering collections that reflect a feminine and contemporary design philosophy. Her designs are characterized by luxurious yet understated styles, blending influences from the ancient world with modern identities. The label has become known for its classic silhouettes, colorful and playful approach to fashion, and a strong emphasis on cuts and fabric mixes.
